IRANIAN AGENTS CAUGHT IN IRAQ

This is a major revelation as two Iranian agents have been caught with explosives in Baghdad. This is the first hard evidence of what has long been suspected – that Iran is trying to destabilize their neighbor in order to spread Islamic theocracy and prevent a democratic revolution that would threaten the power of the mullahs.

What should our response be? There’s an active pro-democracy movement in Iran, and they need our support. We should be giving them whatever they want – money, communications equipment, logistical support, whatever we can without directly committing an act of war against the Iranians. The mullahs know that a democratic Iraq will have a dramatic effect on their ability to maintain control of Iran – our job should be to make that nightmare come true.

UPDATE: And the reaction from the mainstream press? Nothing, nada, zero, zip, zilch. Oh wait, Iranian agents in Iraq distracts from the narrative of the press that it’s the Iraqis who really want the US to be gone. Nothing to see here then…
